Pastors and Priests experienced great challenges during the COVID-19 pandemic. During the pandemic, we felt the government overreached. According to the U.S. and many state constitutions, this is true. Let’s learn and better stand our ground in the future.
Our spiritual leaders, vital to our society, must reaffirm their crucial roles. Remember, America was built on Judaeo-Christian principles, as 2 Corinthians 3:17 teaches us: "Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom."
We stand with those that understand these principles and uphold our constitutionally protected rights, such as our brave sheriffs. As Thomas Jefferson penned "The people...are the only sure reliance for the preservation of our liberty".
Guided by the Holy Spirit, we strive not only to be a repentant nation, combating evil and darkness but a nation committed to morality. We request our spiritual leaders to encourage their congregation to support our local sheriffs and the rights they protect.
In unity, we'll let the light of God shine through these challenging times. Let's uphold the principles that make America a beacon of freedom and justice.
