The office of the sheriff is under attack from organizations whose only intent is to destroy the elected position representing the people as a law enforcement office. They wish to establish dominion over our law enforcement, sheriffs specifically, driven by ideological beliefs as opposed to constitutional law for the sole purpose to use the office as a control mechanism in society.
There are many good men and women holding the office of sheriff that go unrecognized for their sacrifice to their community. We want to change that. Our goal is to bring recognition and support to those that do their duty with honor and loyalty. Many times these men and women stand for their community regardless of the negative attacks and misrepresentations of their actions and statements. Many times, these actions are proper, but they are ridiculed for doing their job. Many times, groups attacking the office of sheriff, or a particular sheriff, are organizations and politicians that want more government and institutional control over our Citizens and must slander a sheriff in order to convince the voters that their agenda is necessary, and the sheriff is doing wrong. We correct this with truth.
We present facts of law, our constitutions, in support of those wonderful sheriffs doing their job that are in the best interest of their communities. These facts are contrary to what those wishing more control want you to believe. We will highlight all sheriffs, no matter where they are, and bring them to your attention. Then you can compare what you want from your sheriff and ask,” What is my Sheriff doing?”
Additionally, we are asking that you support these sheriffs with your positive comments, sharing their stories, and helping us build our communities under constitutional sheriffs.
